The Chagga tribe is one of more than 133 tribes of Tanzania, located under the slopes of Mountain Kilimanjaro in the Region of Kilimanjaro - Northern of Tanzania. The word Chagga originated from word kichaka (bush). This is because people of this place were living at the bushes. The Chagga tribe is based on the solid foundations of their customs and traditions and that is what identifies the tribe. The Chagga tribble is rich in their customs and traditions which are playing a big role on cultural heritage.
